JML Services Reviews
Every review below is a verbatim Google review. Nothing has been written in-house, tidied up or trimmed to remove the unflattering half of a sentence.
Testimonials pages have a credibility problem and most of it is self-inflicted. Once a business can write its own praise, attribute it to an initial and a suburb, and publish it beside a stock photograph, the whole format stops carrying information. Readers know this, which is why a page of glowing unattributed quotes now does almost nothing for the business that wrote it.
The only version worth building is one where the reader can go and check. Everything on this page is a Google review with a real name and a real date against it, reproduced exactly as the customer wrote it. Where somebody used three exclamation marks, there are three exclamation marks. Where a review is two sentences long, it is two sentences long rather than padded out.
The current average is 4.9 across 101 reviews. We did not calculate that and we cannot adjust it, which is the point of quoting it rather than a figure of our own. Over 500 Melbourne homes have been cleaned in more than 10 years of trading, so the reviews represent a sample rather than the whole story.
What you can verify about the business itself, from the trading entity to the insurance position, is on about JML Services. Finished results from recent work are on our work.
What we do not do
- Write testimonials and attribute them to initials
- Offer a discount in exchange for a review
- Remove a review because it was unflattering
- Edit wording, spelling or punctuation
- Publish a rating we calculated ourselves
- Use stock photographs of other people as reviewers
What do Melbourne customers say about JML Services?
Five recent Google reviews, quoted exactly.
Exceptional service from start to finish, the team was friendly, efficient, and went above and beyond, their professionalism and care really stood out, I recommend using this service
Had a fantastic experience with Jml cleaning. They vacuumed my cat hair off the carpet and did a wonderful job. I would highly recommend the cleaning services. I will be booking again in the near future.
My cleaner from JML Services was very thorough and fast. She was great following instructions and I will continue to use this service. Great to find good, reliable cleaners!
So helpful with last minute Christmas clean!! Great communication and very friendly!!
They are just wow. Amazing and professional services they provide.
Read those again and notice what is absent. Nobody mentions price, nobody mentions equipment, and nobody mentions a product. What people actually remember is whether the person who came was thorough, whether they listened, and whether somebody answered when they made contact.

What do these reviews tell you about the service?
Take the review that mentions cat hair being vacuumed off the carpet. On the face of it that is a trivial detail. In practice pet hair at carpet edges and along skirtings is the single most time-consuming routine item in a domestic clean, and it is the first thing dropped when a visit is running behind. Somebody noticing it was done properly is somebody telling you the time allowance was honest.
Or the review about following instructions. Every household has two or three specific things, and they are rarely the things a generic scope covers: do not move that rug, use the bottle under the sink on the stone, the dog goes in the laundry. A cleaner who gets those right on visit two is a cleaner who read the property file, which only exists if somebody wrote it.
The last-minute Christmas clean review points at something different again, which is simply answering the phone in the week between Christmas and New Year. A good deal of what people value in a service business is not the service. It is the absence of chasing.
None of that is accidental and none of it is clever. It is a written scope, a property file, continuity of cleaner and an office that replies, which is the whole approach set out on how we work.
Which services get reviewed most?
What customers tend to comment on, service by service.
| Service | What reviews focus on | What that tells you to ask about |
|---|---|---|
| Regular house cleaning | The cleaner, consistency and communication | Whether you get the same person each visit |
| End of lease cleaning | Whether the inspection passed first time | What happens if the agent flags something |
| Deep cleaning | The difference after a neglected property | Whether the quote was based on actual condition |
| Carpet cleaning | Visible change in traffic lanes and drying time | The method used and how long until the room is usable |
| Oven cleaning | How completely the glass and racks came up | Whether racks and trays are included |
| Commercial and strata | Reliability of attendance and reporting | Who the named supervisor is and what record you receive |
Patterns in reviews are more useful than individual reviews. A business with twenty reviews all praising one thing and none mentioning reliability is telling you something, whether it meant to or not.
How can you leave a review?
Use Google, not a form
A review on a platform we do not control is worth more to the next reader than one we host.
Be specific
Naming the service and what mattered helps other people far more than a general compliment does.
Tell us first if it went wrong
Our guarantee is a same-day return. Use it, then review the outcome.
Say it plainly either way
A critical review that is accurate is more useful to us than a kind one that is not.
Whatever a cleaning business chooses to put in its own terms, your position under Australian law stands on its own, and the consumer guarantees spells out the standard a paid service has to meet. If the service fell short, contact the office and the guarantee applies.
Frequently asked questions about reviews and testimonials
Two questions worth asking of any testimonials page.
Are these real reviews?
Yes. Each one is a Google review left by a customer and reproduced here word for word, with the reviewer name and date as they appear publicly. We have not written any of them, we have not edited them for length, and we have not removed a review because it said something awkward.
Where does the rating come from?
It is the average of the 101 Google reviews on our business profile, which currently sits at 4.9. Google calculates it rather than us, which is exactly why it is worth quoting. A rating a business controls is marketing; a rating it cannot touch is evidence.
