Massage Pricing — Remedial, Kahuna, Mobile.
No hidden fees, no vague "from" pricing, no surprises at the till. These are the real massage prices Sunshine Coast clients pay at my Valdora studio and for mobile sessions across the region. The cost of massage shouldn't be a guessing game — and health fund rebates are available on remedial sessions if you're with an extras-cover fund.
Quick pricing overview.
Remedial Massage pricing.
The most asked-about service on the menu — and the one people ask "how much is a remedial massage?" about most often. The honest remedial massage price: $120 for 60 minutes, less out-of-pocket after your health fund rebate. Targeted, therapeutic, claimable.
Pricing also applies to deep tissue, sports recovery, and pregnancy-safe sessions — all covered under the same remedial massage cost.

Kahuna Bodywork
Kahuna Bodywork pricing.
Kahuna bodywork is built around long, continuous strokes that flow the entire body — it needs time to do what it does. Most clients book 90 minutes, the recommended sweet spot. Sessions aren't claimable through health funds (the modality isn't covered by ANTA rebates), so you pay full price.
New to Kahuna? Try a 90-minute session first. It's the format the tradition was designed around.

Mobile sessions are roughly $20 more than clinic because I bring the studio to your door — professional table, fresh linens, premium oils, music. I set up, you stay home, no driving back afterwards. Many clients consider this the best value on the menu.
Travel surcharge applies for addresses more than 20km from Valdora — usually $10–$20 depending on distance. Confirmed before your session, never a surprise.

Couples & group sessions.
Looking after two of you at once? Hosting a hens day, retreat morning, or wellness gathering? I take small group bookings on a case-by-case basis — couples massage, mini-retreats, or visiting therapist add-ons for events.
Pricing depends on group size, session length, and location. Get in touch and I'll quote within 24 hours.

What you actually pay.
The sticker price on a remedial session is $120 — but that's not what most clients pay. As an ANTA-accredited remedial massage therapist, my receipts are claimable through all major Australian private health funds with extras cover. Real out-of-pocket cost is usually between $40 and $60, depending on your fund and policy.
Rebates apply to remedial massage only — Kahuna bodywork and mobile-only sessions aren't covered, since they fall outside the ANTA scope.
How rebates workExact rebate varies by fund and level of extras cover. Some clients with top-tier cover pay as little as $20 out of pocket.

Pricing questions.
Why is Kahuna massage longer than remedial?
Kahuna bodywork uses long, flowing forearm strokes that travel the full length of the body in continuous, rhythmic movements — it needs time to build, deepen, and release. Most authentic Kahuna sessions run 75 to 90 minutes minimum. A 60-minute Kahuna session is possible but feels rushed; I prefer to honour the tradition with a longer format. Remedial massage works differently — it's targeted to specific problem areas, so 60 minutes is genuinely useful.
Can I get a HICAPS rebate at the time of payment?
I don't currently offer HICAPS at the studio, so you'll pay the full session price on the day and claim through your health fund afterwards. After your session I'll provide a receipt with my ANTA provider details — you submit it through your fund's app or website and the rebate lands in your account within a few business days. Most clients find this just as convenient as HICAPS. More on rebates.
Do you offer package deals or repeat-client discounts?
Yes. I offer pre-paid self-care packages that save 15% on the per-session price — 6 sessions or 10 sessions, in either 60 or 90 minute formats. They're popular with clients who book regular remedial care or want to invest in ongoing Kahuna sessions. Gift vouchers start at $200, and Le Shack stay-and-massage packages are also available for visitors.
No surprises. Just good massage.
