Get a Fixed Quote
Ask for a process server quote here when you want the price settled before anything is served. Tell us the document, the suburb or town and the deadline, and one fixed written figure comes back within [n] business hours.
Quotes suit urgent jobs, regional addresses, several recipients and company service, though any instruction can start here. To see who we are and how we work before you ask, visit our Sydney and regional NSW process serving overview.
How do I get a process server quote?
Complete the quote form with the document type, the suburb or town where the person can be found and how soon service must happen. We reply in writing within [n] business hours with a single fixed price. There is no obligation to proceed.
Attaching the document, rather than describing it, gives the sharpest figure. A Local Court claim for a home in Penrith and a Supreme Court subpoena for a bank in the CBD are priced differently, and the paperwork shows which one you hold. If you win a Local Court claim, Legal Aid NSW notes you may be able to recover some service fees from the defendant, so keep our invoice with your file.
What affects the price?
Location, deadline, the recipient and any extras decide the figure. A Sydney address with no rush is charged the base rate; a regional town, a same-day deadline, a person who avoids callers or several recipients each adds a stated amount. For the published base rates, open our process server cost and pricing schedule.
| Factor | Base rate applies | Price rises when |
|---|---|---|
| Location | A Sydney metro address served by our own staff | The address is regional and needs travel or a local agent, [confirm per zone] |
| Deadline | The standard attempt schedule | Service is needed today, overnight or on a short-service order |
| Recipient | Someone usually home at a known address | The person works shifts, has moved or has avoided service before |
| Extras | One person, one document | Several recipients, a company needing an ASIC search, or conduct money to tender |
Standard Sydney metro serve from [$ figure] including GST. Every surcharge is written into the quote before you accept.
How does a quote become a completed serve?
Accept the figure by lodging the job through Serve Now with your quote reference. We then schedule attempts, report after each one, and close the file with the affidavit and an invoice that matches the quote. Nothing new is priced along the way without your say.
- 1
Quote arrives
One fixed figure, the attempts included and the expected first-attempt window.
- 2
You accept
Lodge the job on the Serve Now instruction form and quote the reference.
- 3
Attempts begin
Visits at varied times, with a short written report after each.
- 4
File closed
Affidavit sworn and sent, then an invoice for the quoted amount.
Is the quoted price really fixed?
Yes. The amount we quote is the amount we invoice, with the agreed attempts and the affidavit already inside it. The figure moves only if the instruction itself changes, and we ask before any added cost is incurred.
✓Inside the figure
- [n] attempts at different times and days
- A written report after every visit
- The sworn affidavit of service, with photographs annexed
- Fixing any formal point a registry raises about our affidavit
- GST
✕What could change it
- You add an address, a recipient or an earlier deadline
- The person keeps avoiding us after the included attempts
- A new address has to be found after the first one proves wrong
- Each of these is priced and agreed with you first
