Process Serving in Central Coast
When a court date is set and the other party lives between the Hawkesbury River and Lake Macquarie, you need a process server Central Coast addresses do not defeat. We serve documents in Gosford, Woy Woy, Terrigal, Wyong, The Entrance, Toukley and the valleys behind them, and every successful serve is proved by a sworn affidavit.
This page sets out the two Local Court houses on the Coast, the registries further away that issue many local papers, our turnaround and travel position, and the details we need from you. To see how the Coast sits alongside our other zones, visit our coverage overview for Sydney and NSW.
Who does the serving when you book a process server Central Coast job?
Coast instructions are carried out by [confirm per zone], working from your brief and reporting to us after each visit, so the quote, the updates and the affidavit all come from one place. We have no Coast office and say so on every quote.
Peninsula
Woy Woy, Umina Beach and Ettalong sit on a narrow neck of land, so traffic on the one or two main roads decides how many visits fit into a morning.
Gosford and the coast
Units near Gosford's waterfront and holiday streets at Terrigal and Avoca, where the owner on the title may actually live in Sydney.
The lakes
Tuggerah, The Entrance, Toukley and Budgewoi, plus newer estates around Warnervale and Hamlyn Terrace.
Hinterland
Somersby, Kulnura and Mangrove Mountain: acreage, long driveways and patchy mobile reception, best attempted in daylight.
Plenty of Coast residents commute to Sydney by train or on the M1, which is why first attempts here are often made early in the morning or after the evening trains arrive. Holiday lets are the other trap: if the address is a short-stay rental, tell us where the owner actually lives.
Which courts serve the Central Coast?
The Coast has Gosford courthouse, where both the Local and District Courts sit, and Wyong Local Court at 6 Anzac Avenue; the Children's Court has its own building at Woy Woy. Family law and NCAT papers come from registries in Sydney or Newcastle.

Gosford Local and District Court
On the corner of Donnison Street and Henry Parry Drive, registry open 9:00 to 4:30 on weekdays, as listed by the Local Court of NSW. The District Court civil sittings for 2026 include Gosford blocks from 16 February, 31 August and 16 November, and criminal trials run through the law term.
Subpoenas for Gosford trials
Wyong Local Court
At 6 Anzac Avenue, with a 9:00 to 4:30 registry and audio visual links in court rooms 1 and 2. The Children's Court also sits at Wyong, while Woy Woy on Blackwall Road is one of its four dedicated courthouses. Its lists cover Local Court civil claims, criminal matters and AVOs.

- A recent photo, car or description
- Whether the address is a permanent home or a holiday let
- Gate codes or reception details for a retirement village
✕Usually adds time
- A Sydney owner of a short-stay rental
- Hinterland acreage with locked gates
- Peak holiday traffic on the peninsula
- An address from an old lease
Family, tenancy, trialsWhat papers do we serve most on the Coast?
The Coast mix is led by divorce and family law applications, followed by tenancy papers for rental and holiday properties and subpoenas for trials at Gosford. Any other NSW court or tribunal document is served the same way.
Family files often involve one party in Sydney and the other on the Coast, and the closest Federal Circuit and Family Court registries are in Sydney and Newcastle. We serve the Coast end discreetly and send the affidavit so the applicant can file it on time. Our page on getting divorce papers served covers the timing.
- Divorce, parenting and property applications
- NCAT tenancy and strata notices

How do I instruct a Central Coast serve?
Book online with the filed document, the recipient's details and the service deadline, or request a quote first if you want the Coast travel figure confirmed in writing. A person reviews the papers before anything is scheduled.
Firms in Sydney often have one recipient on the Coast among several in the city. Send them together and you get one schedule. Our Sydney and NSW process serving overview explains the full process.
