Insights: Rebuilding Your Life
These rebuilding your life articles are written for the stretch after a separation, a burnout or a loss, when you are suddenly making calls you never expected to make alone. They cover trusting your own judgement again, confidence after a relationship ends, getting a grip on money, and knowing which professional handles what.
Each piece draws on Aimee Templeman's coaching work and on her own hard seasons. The other three categories sit on the main insights page.

Four first reads
Start here
If you are new to the rebuilding articles, pick the card that matches the loudest worry. Doubting your own judgement points to self-trust, feeling flat to confidence, unopened statements to money, and legal confusion to the divorce coach piece.

Self-trust
How to Trust Yourself Again After Separation, Burnout or Major Change
The cornerstone of this category. Read it if you have stopped believing your own read on people and situations.

Confidence
How to Rebuild Confidence After a Separation
For the stage when friends say you seem fine and you do not feel it. Gentle, practical, built on ordinary days.

Money
Money Confidence After Separation: Where to Start
If a former partner ran the accounts and the paperwork now feels foreign, this shows what to look at first and what can wait.

Getting help
What Does a Divorce Coach Do (and When You Need a Lawyer or Counsellor Instead)
Worth reading before you book hours with anyone. It draws a clean line between coach, family lawyer and counsellor.
Underneath all four is the same idea: you do not need to fix everything this month. You need the next decision made well. When you would like help with that in person, rebuilding your life coaching works through it with you, and money confidence coaching takes the financial side on its own.
Seven articles in three groups
All articles
This is every article in the rebuilding category, seven so far, grouped by the kind of ground you are trying to recover. Most readers need a little of all three, though rarely at the same time, so start with the column that feels most urgent.
The inner ground
Self-trust and confidence, usually the first things a separation or burnout takes.
Money, a step at a time
For anyone newly in sole charge of the household finances.
Who does what
Where a coach fits beside the lawyer, the counsellor and the adviser.
In clients' own words
What changed for them
Two clients describing what working with Aimee was like, quoted exactly as they wrote it.
"I came to Aimee feeling anxious and honestly a bit lost. She helped me see my own potential and gave me the clarity and confidence to make some big moves toward my goals. She has a way of turning uncertainty into a clear path forward, and I always felt supported rather than pushed."
Rielle B."It changed how I handle my money day to day. I'm way more in control now and actually focussed on where I am heading."
JoshWhen someone else should come first
- A family lawyer, for property settlement and parenting arrangements
- Your GP or a psychologist, if getting through the day is a struggle
- A free financial counsellor through the National Debt Helpline, if debts are building
- A licensed financial adviser, for investment, insurance or super decisions
Aimee will say so plainly if one of these is the better first step for you.
Common questions
Before you book
Which coaching does this relate to?
Mostly Aimee's rebuilding your life coaching, for people starting again after separation, burnout or another major change. When money is the main worry, money confidence and financial independence coaching narrows the focus. Each is built on the same five-phase framework, delivered as four sessions over eight weeks, by video or in Norwest.
Is any of this legal or financial advice?
No. The articles explain options and questions in general terms. Settlements, parenting arrangements and tax depend on your own circumstances, so take those to a family lawyer, an accountant or a licensed adviser. Coaching helps you prepare for those meetings and work out what matters most to you, without replacing them.
One decision at a time
Sort out what comes first
When too many decisions land at once, the hardest part is knowing which one to face first. A free quick chat by video is a calm way to work that out, with no expectation that you sign up for anything.
Coaching for starting again
The Continuum Pathway provides coaching. It isn't counselling, psychology or a crisis service. If you need urgent support, call 000 or Lifeline on 13 11 14. General information only. It is not personal financial, legal or tax advice. Speak to a licensed professional about your circumstances.
